Lewis Burnell has led a career that’s taken him from the Home Office in the UK Government to games journalism and now, here at Vicarious PR.
Lewis worked for the British government before finding himself moving toward his passion: Video games. He studied journalism in the government’s Ministerial Correspondence Team. A program that trains government employees on how to assist members of parliament. Having finished his training, he found himself leaving his bureaucratic position for a role at Tap-Repeatedly.com. He then moved his way to Ten Ton Hammer before freelancing for outlets such as Kotaku, VG247, RPS (Rock, Paper, Shotgun), and MMORPG.com. Each assignment brought along a unique set of challenges that Lewis rose to meet.
Leaving his position as Editor at Ten Ton Hammer, Lewis was brought on at Vicarious PR to oversee our individual client’s needs and handle their PR campaigns. His years as a video game journalist give him a unique point of view and expertise that allows him to see what our clients do and do not need. We are excited to have his skill set and expertise on our staff.
